Police arrested a man on charge of raping a 13-year-old minor girl from Thori Rural Municipality-5 in Parsa district.
The accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar Pariyar (48) of Subarnapur in the same rural municipality.
The minor had come to Pariyar's house to play with his son. He took the minor to his room and allegedly raped her on July 12. Parsa-based District Police Office (DPO) nabbed him immediately after receiving information about the incident.
Pariyar has been charged under a rape case and further investigation into the case is underway, informed DPO, Parsa.
