CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the Socialist Front Nepal was formed to safeguard the constitution and republic.
Addressing the first Bagmati Province Committee's meeting of Nepal Newa: National Association (Socialist) here Saturday, he said the Front was declared as conspiracies were rife against the political achievements obtained from the long struggle of the people.
But, the Front was not made to isolate any other force, Chairman Nepal argued. He was of the view that the Front will hold its meeting soon to finalize its upcoming working guidelines and programmes.
Likewise, Chairman Nepal said that his party was not going for unification process with other political force but called for unity among the transformative forces.
On the occasion, he said that corruption control should be the common mission of all political parties since it was the main obstacle for the nation's progress.
