The house that once belonged to the late Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota has been demolished to make a museum.
The government bought the house located in Maitidevi, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30 for Rs 25 million and handed it over to the Nepal Academy to make it a museum.
It has been reported that Mahakavi had bought the house in 1990 BS.
