A house was buried in a landslide due to incessant rainfall in Silichong Rural Municipality-1 in Sankhuwasabha district on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, Alakshye Kumar Rai, Ward Chairperson of Silichong Rural Municipality, informed that Chattish Kumar, an 80-year-old man has been injured in the incident.
Kumar is receiving treatment at the local health post.
His wife, Sukhmaya Rai, and granddaughter managed to escape without any injuries, said Ward Chairperson Rai.
The rural municipality is facing continuous incessant rainfall for the past three days.
