Korean Ambassador pays courtesy call on Vice President Yadav

 South Korean Ambassador to Nepal, Park Tae-Young, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav on Friday. During the meeting held at Vice President's Office, issues of bilateral interest were discussed.

The Vice President's Office informed that the discussion was held on friendly relations between the two countries and various dimensions of cooperation.

"Our bilateral relations are based on mutual trust, understanding and cooperation," Vice President Yadav viewed, adding that the mutual cooperation and friendship is strengthened continuously.

Vice President Yadav further reminded that South Korea is a reliable and significant partner for socioeconomic development of Nepal. "I express gratitude to South Korean government for continuous support to Nepal on its development," he added.

On the occasion, the South Korean government was urged with Ambassador that it could invest in Nepal's hydropower and other productive sectors, as the environment was being created conducive for it.

Nepal wants to be benefitted from Korea's knowledge, skills and technology, Yadav stressed.

In response, South Korean Ambassador Park expressed commitment to continue cooperation and assistance to Nepal for its development.
