President Bidya Devi Bhandari has wished that Shrikrishna Janmashtami would inspire all Nepalis to build a civilized and cultured society by enhancing mutual harmony, compassion and friendship.
In a message on the occasion of Shree Krishna Janmashtami here today, she said that the knowledge of the Gita inspires the whole world to engage in good deeds by renouncing anger, greed and obsession to maintain harmony in society.
She has also expressed her best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity and good health to all Nepali sisters and brothers living in the country and abroad on the occasion birth anniversary of Lord Krishna.
