Kaski extends prohibitory orders for a week

Kaski district authorities have extended prohibitory orders in the district for a week with some relaxations.

According to the new orders coming into effect from Tuesday, the private vehicles are allowed to operate on odd-even number basis and different businesses outlets, shops and groceries are permitted to open from 5.00 am to 12.00 noon, stated a public notice issued by the District Administration Office, Kaski on Sunday.

Chief District Officer Thaneswor Gautam informed that the prohibitory orders which have been enforced to contain the second wave of coronavirus infection have been extended for a week with some relaxations from June 22-29.

As per the administration’s orders, the four wheeler and two wheeler small private vehicles with even registration numbers could be opened on even dates while the ones with odd registration numbers on odd dates. However, the four wheeler cannot carry more than four people including the driver.

Yet, the services delivered from the cinema hall, party palace, hotel/restaurant, tea/coffee shops, motel, dance club, dance bar, folk music performance (dohori sanjh), fun park, stadium, football sports ground, gym house, fitness centre, spa, swimming pool, beauty parlor, salon and footpath vendors have not been allowed.

The vehicles carrying construction materials including stones, pebbles and sand will be allowed to operate from 7.00 pm in the evening to 5.00 am in the morning, the orders noted.
