Independent candidates busy campaigning

Independent candidates vying for the post of member of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly have intensified their campaigning in their respective constituencies.

Candidates are sharing their agendas and seeking votes by reaching out to the voters' doorsteps. In this connection, the independent candidate of Kathmandu's constituency no. 9 is also seeking votes from the voters. Kalpana Dhamala, the candidate of the Left Democratic Alliance, and Shyamakrishna Khadka, the candidate of 2 for the Provincial Assembly, sought votes in Chandragiri Municipality-1 Dahachowk today.

Addressing the candidate introduction ward-level women's meeting organized by the Women's Mobilization and Coordination Committee of the Left Democratic Alliance, Dhamala, a candidate for the House of Representatives, said that they entered the election with the aim of protecting the constitution and fulfilling the goals of development and prosperity.

Dhamala expressed her determination not to misused people's vote, not to do anything against the constitution, not to indulge in corruption and to help ward off people's suffering.

At the program, Khadka, the candidate for the Provincial Assembly area no. 2, said that there is no chance of being defeated because the Left Democratic Alliance carries the long-term goals and interests of the country. On that occasion, the candidates of the alliance presented their agenda in terms of development of roads, tourism and skill-based employment and entrepreneurship.
