The policies and programmes of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City in Makawanpur district for upcoming fiscal year 2022/23 have been unanimously endorsed today.
The third meeting of the 11th session of the Sub-Metropolis convened in Hetauda also approved Finance Bill-2022 AD and Appropriation Bill-2022 AD.
The Sub-Metropolis on June 26 had presented budget estimate worth Rs 2.71 billion to implement the policies and programmes proposed for the upcoming fiscal year.
The unanimous endorsement of the policies and programmes has paved the path for spearheading as well as to take forward development endeavors as well as complete projects in the Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City.
Sub-metropolis mayor Meena Lama expressed her confidence that the Appropriation Bill endorsed today would give impetus to development works in the city.
Earlier, the ward chairperson and secretaries in local levels in the Sub-Metropolis were given one-day orientation for administration and implementation of policies and programmes.
