The body of a girl who had been missing for four days has been found. The body of seven-year-old girl, Grishma BK of Gurbhakot Municipality-5 has been found in a maize field near her house.
Grishma had been missing since Friday, and her body was found in a maize field 500 meters below her house on Tuesday morning, locals said.
Police have arrested a 20-year-old man from the same place on suspicion of being involved in the incident, said Ganapati Bimal Dangi of the Armed Police Force.
Police said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
According to Lal Bahadur Pun, Ward Chairman of Gurbhakot Municipality-5, Grishma was living with her grandmother. It is suspected that the girl may have been killed after being raped.
