A girl died in a fire in a house in Jumla. According to District Police Office Police Inspector, Dharma Raj Joshi, 14-year-old Bandana Bhandari died in the house fire.
A three-storey house was completely damaged by the fire that broke out around 10:30 pm on Sunday.
According to the police, 7 people including Lok Bahadur's mother-in-law and wife were sleeping in the three-storey house. According to the police, the fire started from the second floor of the house.
Lok Bahadur Bhandari was also slightly injured in the incident. Some parts of his legs are burnt.
The body of the deceased girl has been taken to the teaching hospital of Karnali Institute of Health Sciences for post-mortem.
