The Baglung Jaycees has feted two individuals for their exceptional contribution and achievement in education and technology.
Pratikshya Gautam, student at the Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus, and Tek Narayan Kandel, IT professional, have been honoured this year.
Gautam scored 4 GPA in seventh semester in the BBA from the Dhawalagiri Multiple College under the Tribhuvan University (TU) and became the first female student scoring 4 GPA among all the TU affiliated campuses across the country.
Similarly, Kandel is currently engaged in expansion of internet and CCTV networks in rural areas of Baglung, shared with Anjila Shakya, Jaycees Baglung's General-Secretary.
Baglung Municipality mayor Basanta Kumar Shrestha honoured Gautam and Kandel with a shawl. Jaycees Baglung has been annually honouring youths within 18 to 40 years for their outstanding contribution in various sectors. ---
