Muslims celebrate Eid ul Fitr in Morang today.
In the Islamic community, the month of Ramadan is considered very sacred. As soon as the month of Ramadan begins, Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated by looking at the moon. At the Idgah located at Biratnagar-13, the followers of Islam have offered collective prayers today and exchanged Eid Mubarak (congratulations and best wishes) by embracing each other.
Muslims fast during the month-long festival of Ramadan, which started on April 3. Giving alms, serving the poor and needy, paying zakat are the great features of this month. If a person who is addicted can fast for a month honestly, it can be estimated that the habit of eating cigarettes, khaini, gutkha etc. can change. Muslims are proud to observe Ramadan in this festival which combines sacrifice, penance and sacrifice.
Fasting is not mandatory for minors, the sick, the terminally ill and pregnant women. In this festival, biryani, pulau, sebai, milk, meat dishes, fruits are eaten.
