Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has said domestic production and the country’s export should be increased to strengthen the national economy.
In his address to the 25th annual general assembly of the Export Council of Nepal and the 7th Export Day here on Friday, the Deputy Prime Minister echoed the need for more and more production at home and a rise in export to reduce the country’s ballooning trade deficit.
He believed that the nation could find a path to sustainable development and prosperity provided that it achieved political stability. On the occasion, he asserted that further efforts should be taken to promote good governance in the nation. ---
