The Disyang Rural Municipality in Manang is holdings its ninth session through the virtual medium. Chairperson of the rural municipality, Kanchha Ghale presented the policies and programmes for next fiscal year 2078/79 during the session.
Ghale mentioned that priority has been given to those who have been affected by the floods and landslides and people infected by the COVID-19 in the policies and programmes for next fiscal. He said that since the floods had damaged the physical infrastructure of the rural municipality the rural municipality will prioritise that too.
Deepak Dhakal, Chief Administrative Officer of Disyang Rural Municipality, informed that the session was conducted virtually as the roads connecting the different areas had been damaged by the floods and landslides. He added that in the next fiscal year the rural municipality will focus more on the rehabilitation of people and management of disasters.
