A pilgrim, who fell unconscious during a pilgrimage to Pathibhara, has died today. The deceased has been identified as Khin Bahadur Dhungana of Itahari Municipality-9, Sunsari.
According to the police, 60-year-old Dhungana fell to the ground while performing rituals and was rushed to the district hospital for further treatment. The hospital declared Dhungana dead, police said. Dhungana, along with his family and relatives, had reached the temple this morning.
