CPN (Maoist Center) has convened a meeting of the Central Committee. Central Office Secretary of the UCPN (M) Shri Ram Dhakal informed that a meeting of the Central Committee will be convened on February 11 and 12 this year.
According to him, the meeting was convened to resolve the organizational political issue. Earlier, a meeting of the Central Committee was convened for January 9 after the eighth National General Convention of the Maoists. However, party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal was unable to attend the meeting after he tested COVID positive. The Eighth General Convention of the UCPN (M) had given the responsibility of selecting the office bearers to the Central Committee.
