The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged everyone to be cautious as there will be thunder and lightning in the hilly areas of the country. The department has forecast moderate to light rain in different parts of the country till Sunday night.
According to the notice, it will rain in the next 24 hours in some places of Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki and in the hilly areas of the rest of the province.
The department has clarified that there is partial to general change in the weather in the hilly areas of the country due to the influence of local winds and western winds.
