Two bodies have been found on the banks of Rapti River in Banke. The bodies of Kanchan Tharu, 22, and Aparna Tharu, 13, of Rapti-Sonari Rural Municipality-6, have been recovered.
According to Ram Bahadur Gharti, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Banke, the girls went missing while crossing the Rapti River on Saturday.
The bodies were found during a search on Sunday afternoon.
