A person has been arrested on the charge of defrauding money by hacking the social network profile of a Nepali living in America.
23-year-old Ashish Pariyar, a resident of Lamachaur, Pokhara was arrested yesterday.
He hacked the profile based on technical evidence and human intelligence. He used the same profile to send money to digital wallets under various pretexts of cooperation. In this way, he cheated a victim of 50,000 rupees in cash, according to the police.
