A young man has been injjured in a gun fight at Dhanusha. Mukesh Mukhiya, 18, was injured in the incident at Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolis-19 on Saturday night.
Mukhiya, who is from Kamala Municipality-8, had been living at his uncle's house in Janakpurdham-19, Shibpur. According to Dhanusha Police Spokesperson and DSP Jitendra Basnet, he was shot while he was talking to a group of 5-6 people at a grocery store run by his uncle Bhogi Mukhiya.
According to Basnet, the bullet hit Chiundo in the neck and was sent to Kathmandu for treatment at night.
He was shot with a pistol, police said. The pistol has been recovered and the shooter has been identified, said DSP Basnet.
Police said that they are looking for the shooter and other investigations are underway into the incident.
