96 percent vaccinated against COVID-19 in Bagmati

So far, 96 percent of the people in Bagmati have been vaccinated with the first dose under the Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign.

According to the ministry, 48 percent of children between the ages of 12 and 17 in the state have been vaccinated against corona infection. The first vaccination campaign started from Hetauda has been given to 48 percent of children across the state. Health Minister Nima Lama said that the number of people getting vaccinated has increased as the vaccination campaign has been intensified in the community.

Stating that the Coronavirus epidemic has not only caused damages to health but also to the economy, Minister Lama said that the state government was working to improve the health sector.

Minister Lama himself visited remote and backward areas of Makwanpur and conducted camps under the Corona Infection Vaccination Campaign. Meanwhile, according to the District Public Health Office, Makwanpur, 90 percent of the people in Makwanpur have been So far, 96 percent of the people in Bagmati have been vaccinated with the first dose under the Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign.

It is also said that vaccination against corona and swab collection is going on in the district. The number of corona infections in the district has been 17,911 so far and the number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in the district so far is 171, according to the office. The number of corona infections in the district is decreasing day by day.
