81 women polling officers in Chitwan

There are women polling officers in 81 polling stations in the district. Out of 451 polling stations in 161 polling stations, all the staffs at Balmandir Autism School polling station are women.

 There are four polling stations at this place. According to Purushottam Poudel, Information Officer at the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, all the staffs at each polling station are women. There are three thousand 342 voters in this polling station. According to her, women officers have been posted in 81 out of 451 centers. He said that they have been given the responsibility with the objective that women should also get the responsibility.

 There are less than 500 voters in the two polling stations in the district. There are less than 500 voters in two centers of Ichchakamana village municipality. He informed that four polling staffs have been deployed in those polling stations and five polling staffs have been deployed in other polling stations. According to him, the polling officer has started the election work from today by appointing three volunteer staff at the polling station.

 He said that work is underway to certify four forts in the area around 300 meters from the polling station, hold all-party meeting, distribute voter identity cards and impart election education. There are three lakh 97 thousand 685 voters in the district. Out of which two lakh four thousand 666 are women, one lakh 93 thousand 18 are men and one is third gender.

 Out of the total voters, there are 185,752 voters in Bharatpur, 52,642 in Ratnanagar, 43,531 in Khairhani, 31,157 in Kalika, 40,649 in Rapti, 28,320 in Madi and 15,634 in Ichchakamana.
