The country recorded 60 new cases of Covid-19 infection on Saturday, taking the total caseload to 275,168. The infection cases were recorded from 2,362 tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
So far, the country has witnessed 3,014 deaths from the infection with two latest casualties.
As of now, a total of 271,249 infected people have been free of the virus with 72,000 in the past 24 hour. The recovery rate is 98.6 percent.
Of 915 active infected people across the country, 49 are at quarantine facility at present and others in isolation. Till date, more than 2.2 million PCR tests are conducted in the country.
