6 people who came for treatment in Chitwan district in the last 4 months have died due to dengue infection. Chitwan Health Office said that the deaths were from the district and outside the district.
According to Ram KC, the information officer of the office, out of 10,974 people who have been tested so far, 2,949 people have been infected with dengue. Among the infected, 20,500 people are from Chitwan and others are from the outer districts
