Police on Friday evening arrested 3 youths from Bhanu Municipality-6 based Chaitedada Community forest with 12 kilograms of marijuana.
The arrestees have been identified as Chhetra Bahadur Chepang, a 28-year-old resident of Raksing Rural Municipality-6 in Makawanpur, and 2 others whose names have not been disclosed yet.
Security personnel deployed from the Dumre-based Area Police Office arrested them in possession of the substance.
Meanwhile, police on Saturday afternoon arrested 2 youths from Sankarpur in Sunarya Rural Municipality-6 in possession of 700 grams of hashish.
The arrestees have been identified as Prakash Bista (20) and Suresh Bista (30), residents of Sunarya Rural Municipality-5 and 6.
Security personnel deployed from the Rauleshwor-based Police Office arrested them with the substance during a routine vehicle check when the accused were riding on a motorcycle with vehicle registration number SU-PA-PRA 4001 PA 0015.
