27-year-old Sonia Tharu, who was riding on the back of the motorcycle, was seriously injured in the accident and died at the Bardia Hospital, during treatment. This unfortunate incident took place at 12:30 last night after the motorcycle overturned at Madhuvan Municipality in Bardia. The motorcyclist has been injured and sent to Nepalgunj Medical College, Banke for further treatment.
In another accident, a person died, when two motorcycles collided at Rupani rural municipality in Saptari, yesterday evening. A motorcycle going from Rupani towards Rajviraj and, a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction collided at about 7 pm yesterday. 25-year-old Biki Chowdhury from Shambhunath Municipality, Saptari, who was seriously injured in the accident, died at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
