The annual report of British Army's Gurkha Brigade presented to President Paudel

United Kingdom British Army General and Gurkha Division Colonel Commandant Richard Wardlow O. v. e. and the team presented the annual report of Gorkha Division to President Ramchandra Paudel.

On that occasion, President Paudel said that maintaining peace, stability, and freedom in the world is the common goal of Nepal and Britain and said that they should move forward by supporting each other, according to the Secretariat.

He said that the Gurkha regiment is a bridge between Nepal and the UK and expressed his belief that the United Kingdom of Great Britain will reach a solution with generosity and harmony in the discussions going on at the diplomatic level to address the complaints of the former British Gurkhas.

President Paudel said that since the issue of climate change has become a major concern of the world, we must work together on it.

While presenting the report, Wardlow mentioned that the world respects and appreciates the professionalism, dedication, and bravery of the Gorkhali army only in the UK and expressed his belief that the British Gorkhas will continue to work as an excellent ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal as long as they exist in this world.

In the report, looking back to the year 2023, it has been mentioned that the Brigade of Gorkhas has played an important role in making the world a safe place, and despite the international uncertainty, the prestige and effectiveness of the Gorkhas have been maintained.

British Ambassador Rob Fenn was also present on the occasion.
