President Ramchandra Paudel has drawn the attention of the top leaders of the three major political parties to work together to strengthen the democratic system by solving the pressing problems of the country.
President Paudel invited Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Chairman of the main opposition party CPN-UML KP Sharma and Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba to Shitalniwas on Friday and drew attention to the important issues in the country to implement federalism, good governance and reforming universities, said Kiran Pokharel, President's Press Adviser.
According to him, President Paudel drew the attention of the leaders to implement the federalism brought by the parties together, to make the laws together to give authorities to the provinces, and to maintain good governance so that the people get justice.
Adviser Pokharel informed that President Paudel has also drawn attention to start a campaign to reform the university by bringing capable academics when the vice chancellor is vacant in Tribhuvan University. It is said that the leaders took the attention of President Paudel positively.
