Sri Lanka has won the title of mixed team events on both the U-15 and U-17 sides of the Badminton Asia (South Asia) Regional Junior Championship 2023 organized by Badminton Asia and co-organized by the Nepal Badminton Association.
The Armed Police Force won the title by defeating Nepal 3-0 in the U-15 competition of the championship held at the Covered Hall in Halchok, Nepal. Senuth Sethamitha Perera of Sri Lanka defeated Suvin Shrestha of Nepal by the same margin of 21-17, 21-17. Similarly, Nethmi Ratnayake defeated Rihanna Sherchan 21-8, 21-13. Meanwhile, the pair of Kenneth Arugoda and Senuth Sethamitha Perera won the title after defeating the pair of Saurya Maharjan and Suvin Shrestha by 21-11, 21-17. Bangladesh and Bhutan were in the third place.
