Dr. Saroj Krishna Shrestha, Chairman of the Nepal Olympic Committee NOC Medical Commission, passed away. According to NOC, Dr. Shrestha was an orthopedic specialist who has been continuously contributing to health care in Nepal's sports sector for a long time. He held the position of Chief of the Anti-Doping Committee in NOC and is the acting Chairman of the Medical and Sports Science Committee in the Asian Paralympic Committee.
Dr. Saroj exhibited an unwavering commitment to the field of sports medicine and promoting anti-doping activities in Nepal. The sports fraternity of Nepal has lost an important figure.
