Khumaltar Youth Club has emerged victorious in the Shaheed Smarak B Division League Football Tournament.
Khumaltar defeated Shree Bhagwati Youth Club 4-2 in a match played at ANFA (All Nepal Football Association) Complex, Satdobato today.
Divas Chhantyal scored in the 21st minute giving Khumaltar the lead. Similarly, Santosh KC of Bhagwati Youth Club scored a goal in the 31st minute of the match to level the match 1-1. Then, in the 55th minute of the match, Divas scored his second individual goal to give Khumaltar a 2-1 lead.
Suraj Basnet scored in the 83rd minute to give Khumaltar a 3-1 lead. A 4-1 lead was achieved by Khumaltar when Prashanna Shrestha scored in the 89th minute. After that, Raju Gurung of Bhagwati Youth scored a goal in extra time of the second half but Khumaltar won 4-2. With this victory, Khumaltar has added 15 points in 10 games. Defeated Bhagwati has added 14 points in 10 matches so far.
