Bardghat municipality today honored Rohit Kumar Paudel, the captain of the national cricket team, a resident of Bardghat-14, Budhbasti, Nawalparasi (Bardghat-Susta West), who was successful in entering the World Cup qualifiers with a brilliant result in the ICC World Cup League-2 tournament.
Paudel was honored by the municipality with Rs 51,000 and a certificate as an encouragement by organizing a program with a welcome in his home district. The municipality has honored Poudel, a resident of Bardghat-14, for being successful in making Bardghat Municipality proud of the entire nation by being selected in the World Cup Qualifier with a high performance.
In the program, Captain Paudel said that he will work round the clock to introduce Nepal to the international world by performing excellent games in the coming days as well. He said that the respect given to him in his motherland gave him more energy.
Paudel, who arrived in his home district, has been honored with a welcome by various organizations and local levels in West Nawalparasi. Municipalities, Jaycees, Sports Development Committee, Lions Club and other organizations held various programs to honor them.
