Organising a press conference today, the Nepal Olympic Committee has stated that swimmer Gaurika Singh will be the flag bearer at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha also expressed his belief that the performance of the Nepali squad will be better at the Tokyo Olympics than in the previous editions. The national olympic committee has selected five athletes for four events for the Tokyo Olympics.
The Tokyo Olympics will be held from July 23 to August 8. The event this year will have the participation of approximately 11,000 athletes competing in 339 various events.
