Four Nepali boxers in World Women's Boxing Championship

Nepal Boxing Association has invited four players to participate in the World Women's Boxing Championship for closed training

 According to Shyam Kaji Awale, spokesperson of the Nepal Boxing Association, four of the best women boxers of Nepal to participate in the International Boxing Association (IBA) World Women's Boxing Championship-2022 have been invited for closed training.

 Susman Tamang, Minu Gurung, Chandrakala Thapa and Poonam Rawal from Nepal will compete in the 12th World Women's Boxing Championship to be held in Istanbul, Turkey from May 6 to 21. Susman will compete in 48 kg weight category, Minu in 52 kg, Chandrakala in 57 kg and Poonam in 60 kg. The four participants are from the Open International Boxing Championships in Thailand last month.

 Boxing head coach Prakash Thapa Magar and IBA Three Star coach Deepak Maharjan are training the players in the morning and the evening at the boxing training hall at Satdobato. According to the association, the competition will be important for the preparation of the upcoming 19th Asian Games (Asiad).
