Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor, Balen Shah, and Deputy Mayor, Sunita Dangol have wished the women's national football team success in the SAFF Championship.
Mayor Shah and Deputy Mayor Dangol reached the hotel where the team was staying on Friday morning to wish the players of the team.
Along with Nepal, India and Bangladesh have also victoriously started the championship.
Nepal defeated Bhutan 4-0 in the opening match. Nepal, who have group insurance, will play their next match against Sri Lanka on Monday.
