Nepal is competing against Tajikistan in the second match of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers today at the Republican Central Stadium. The match between Nepal and Tajikistan will start at 7:45pm (Nepali time).
In the first match of Group B, Nepal lost 4-0 to Iran, while, Tajikistan will be looking for a second consecutive victory. Tajikistan defeated Lebanon in the first match.
Iran topped the group with three points, followed by Tajikistan. Lebanon is third with no points and Nepal is at the bottom. In the final match, Nepal will play against Lebanon on Sunday. The top team in the group will play in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup.
The final round of the tournament is scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan from June 1 to 19, 2022.
