CPN (UML) has won the post of chairman and vice-chairman of Bahardashi village municipality.
UML's Devendra Prasad Chamlagain won the election by getting 7,148 votes. His nearest rival Khadga Prasad Rajbanshi of the alliance has received 4,361 votes.
Similarly, UML's Shanta Shiwakoti Kharel has been elected as the Vice-Chairman by getting 6,636 votes. His closest rival, Kamala Rajbanshi of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, polled 4,195 votes.
In Bahardashi, which has seven wards, Congress has won in four wards and UML, RPP and Swatantra have won in each ward.
