The main opposition CPN UML is holding the Standing Committee meeting on Sunday.
It has been decided to convene the SC meeting at Tulsi Lal Memorial Foundation in Lalitpur at 11:00 am, according to CPN UML Party Central Office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang.
The SC meeting will decide the agenda for the UML Central Committee meeting and prepare for the assembly session. The 14th Central Committee meeting of the CPN UML will take place at the foundation the following day at 11:00 am after holding the SC meeting.
The SC meeting scheduled for Sunday will revert the party structure just like before May 16, 2018. The leaders close to the party faction led by Madhav Kumar Nepal have also been invited to attend the meeting.
The CPN UML has decided to hold the assembly session from August 9 to 11.
The leaders belonging to the Nepal faction had not participated in the SC meeting that approved the 10-point agreement of the party's Dispute Resolution Taskforce, on Friday.
