The ruling party of Tanahu district has decided to collect suggestions in all the municipalities for the local level election. A meeting of the district level alliance committee held on Sunday has decided to collect suggestions in all the ten municipalities for the upcoming election on May 13.
According to Laxmi Bhakta Khanal, secretary of the Nepali Congress Tanahun, the meeting held at the CPN-Maoist central office decided to hold the next meeting on April 15 after collecting suggestions from four municipalities and six villages.
"The meeting has agreed on how to move forward by collecting municipal level suggestions to strengthen the alliance," he said, "We hold meetings at the municipal level and collect suggestions."
Congress, Maoists, CPN-Unified Socialists and People's Socialist Party have agreed to form an alliance in the election. The meeting was attended by District President of the Nepali Congress Jit Prakash Ale, Chairman of the Maoist Center Rajendra Keshari Neupane and District Secretary of the Unified Socialists Shri Ram Karki.
