The four political parties in the ruling coalition have decided that President Bidya Devi Bhandari's move of not validating the Citizenship Bill is an attack on the constitutional system.
The Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Center, CPN United Socialist Party, and Janata Samajwadi Party issued a joint statement and concluded that the President has attacked the constitutional provision of the duty to follow the constitution.
Prime Minister and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Maoist President Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Unified Socialist Party President Madhav Kumar Nepal, and Janata Samajwadi Part Party President Upendra Yadav said in a statement.
