The process of submission of the closed list of candidates for the proportional representation (PR) system has started for the November 20 federal and provincial elections.
The closed list is to be submitted to the office of the Chief Returning Officer established at Bahadur Bhavan, Kantipath of the Election Commission has started. The Commission has fixed the time for submission of the said list for September 18 and 19.
Spokesperson of the Commission Shaligram Sharma Paudel said that eight venues and 10 rooms have been set up to submit the PR lists for the election to the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly.
The Commission has appointed Secretary Gokarnamani Duwadi as the Chief Returning Officer for the purpose.
