Leadership responsible for building on or ruining party: Madhav Kumar Nepal

Senior leader of CPN UML,  Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that it is up to the leadership whether to build on or ruin the party.
Nepal made such a remark against the top leadership in his party, at a programme organised by the Youth Association Nepal close to the CPN UML faction led by himself on the occasion of 43rd Pushpa Lal Memorial Day in Surya Binayak, Bhaktapur on Thursday.
The disgruntled leader satirically said, “Dark clouds are hovering the communist movement in the country. We must move ahead wading through those dark clouds.”
Nepal, also the former Prime Minister argued that a good successor should be born out of youth and said that he was taught that no one should run away from the ground whatever the circumstances.
He claimed that the public would vote the communists to the leadership role in governance if they were to review their weakness and go to public correcting their flaws.
On the occasion, ‘1001-member People's Volunteer’ campaign was announced. The campaign led by Shiva Shrestha will train the volunteers imbibing qualities like diligence, devotion, commitment and working in the best interest of the country and countrymen.
Similarly, CPN UML Standing Committee Member Raghuji Panta voiced for respectable unity in the party and spoke of the need for party leadership to enable an environment of trust.
Various speakers shed light on the importance and relevance of people's volunteers.
