Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Prem Ale, held a discussion regarding the present condition of the tourism sector after the impact of COVID-19.
During the meeting held at the Home Ministry on Wednesday, they also about the present condition of two international airports and issues to be resolved. Minister Khand’s press coordinator Madhu Sudan Bhattarai said that the Minister duo talked about the management of Tribhuvan International Airport and the operation of Gautam Buddha International Airport.
The government is preparing to carry out a ‘calibration flight’ at Gautam Buddha International Airport and then to bring the airport into operation, he shared.
On the occasion, Minister Ale briefed Home Minister Khand about post-COVID-19 tourism conditions and measures to be carried out to address the sector.
Home Minister Khand talked about the role that his Ministry could play for the revival and improvement of the tourism sector.
