The Election Commission has drawn the attention of all political parties and candidates not to use party flags, pamphlets, and election symbols and children in the election campaign against the criteria set in the Election Code of Conduct.

The commission has reminded all the political parties, leaders, cadres, and all concerned to fully abide by the election code of conduct. Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel said that the commission is confident that the political parties and candidates will fully abide by the clear provision that the party's flag and election symbol should not exceed the prescribed size as all the political parties have already committed to the election code of conduct.

A statement from the commission said, "It is learned that the Election Commission has implemented the election code of conduct with effect from April 10. The Code of Conduct stipulates that persons attending or campaigning for a political party rally or public meeting shall not wear the party's election symbol or flag emblazoned with the logo or sticker or clothing, hat or cap, vest, t-shirt, jacket, shirt, scarf, batch, mask or locket or carry a bag. ”

The election code of conduct also stipulates that no digital board, flex, glucine board, audio-visual material, and audio-visual material should be displayed in the candidate's office for the purpose of publicity of the party except for the 3/3 feet party flag and election symbol of the same size.

The code of conduct prohibits the use of children under the age of 18 in election campaigns, public meetings, and rallies.
