The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to vote for the common candidate for the post of President representing the eight political parties, Ram Chandra Poudel. The election is taking place on coming March 9.
The secretariat meeting of the party held on Wednesday decided in this regard, according to Jagannath Khatiwada, chief of the publicity department of the party.
The meeting also discussed the recent political developments and international affairs and decided to take initiative to unite the leftist campaigns for the cause of peace, stability, and development, Khatiwada shared.
Moreover, the party directed all the sister organizations to hold their national conventions in coming May.
