Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the conspiracy of the reactionaries to dismantle the ruling coalition will not succeed. Speaking at a program organized by the Madhesi Martyrs' Foundation under the Madhes state government in Janakpurdham today on the occasion of the 27th People's War Day, Chairman Dahal said that the conspiracy to break the alliance of reactionary elements would not succeed as efforts were being made to strengthen the alliance.
"Ever since the alliance was formed, the reactionaries and the king have been conspiring to break the alliance," Dahal said. He said that all should be vigilant as those who do not accept the constitution and do not assimilate the change are trying to destroy the alliance, disrupt the election program, and still tarnish the atmosphere of the country.
"The revolutionary tendency towards those who have been defeated by the people's war, the people's movement, and the Madhes movement have not remained silent," Dahal said.
Stating that an alliance has been formed for the defense of the constitution, implementation of the federal democratic republic and defense of the nation, President Dahal claimed that the alliance would not be broken immediately as the alliance and its leaders understood the need to continue the alliance.
Stating that the Madhes state government has done a historic welcome work by maintaining the name of the state as Madhes state and for the first time formally organizing 'People's War' day, he said that it has sent a new message to the country and abroad.
Stating that he has come to take a resolution for a new movement and campaign, he said that the party has decided to go among the Madhesi people to get energy for the struggle. Referring to the fact that the people's war was started from Madhes, Chairman Dahal said that there was a plan to go among the Madhesi people again and get energy if necessary.
Speaking on the occasion, Madhes Chief Harishankar Mishra said that all parties should unite for economic prosperity and equality while protecting the achievements gained from the sacrifices of the martyrs.
Addressing the program through virtual media, Madhes Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut said that the federal democratic republic came to the country due to the 'People's War' and the government took it seriously.
Stating that the state government is committed to institutionalizing the achievements gained from the sacrifices of the martyrs, Chief Minister Raut said that the state government would not be stingy in respecting the families of the martyrs.
On the occasion, CPN-Maoist Central Committee Standing Committee Member and former Minister Matrika Prasad Yadav said that the Maoists were needed in the country to protect their achievements and fulfill their future responsibilities.
Claiming that an indictment has been filed against the Chief Justice for the cleansing of the court, he said that it would put an end to the corruption and malpractice in the court. Minister of State for Education, Science and Technology Bodh Maya Yadav said that all those who were martyred during various movements including the People's War should be declared martyrs.
On the occasion, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Ram Saroj Yadav, Minister for Industry, Forest and Tourism Sathrudhan Mahato and Minister of State for Internal Affairs and Communications Rubi Karna said that party unity was necessary for the economic prosperity of the country by institutionalizing the achievements gained from armed conflict, people's movement and Madhes movement.
At a program organized under the chairmanship of Bharat Prasad Sah, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications and Chairman of the Madhesi Martyrs' Foundation, Dahal honored the families of 40 people who were martyred during the armed conflict with Rs. One hundred thousand each.
