Under the coordination and management of the Nepali Congress, an orientation program focused on the presidential election will be held for members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly of eight political parties.
Parliamentarians of Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), CPN (Unified Socialist), Democratic Socialist Party (LSP), Janmaat Party, Rashtriya Janamorcha and Civil Liberation Party will attend the orientation program at the Royal Banquet at Tinkune today at 1 pm. Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel informed that an orientation program will be held. The presidential election will be held on March 9, 2023.
With the support of those eight parties, senior Congress leader Ramchandra Poudel has been nominated for the post of President, while Vice President Subash Chandra Nemwang has been nominated for the post of President on behalf of CPN (UML).
