The Palpa-based district hospital has witnessed a shutdown of services, excluding the emergency ones. The service disruption came after some employees of the hospital were diagnosed with coronavirus infection.
Hospital Development Committee Chairperson, Netra Prasad Pandey shared that nine out of 10 working staff of the hospital, including acting medical superintendent, were detected with coronavirus.
Issuing a notice, the hospital said that all the services, excluding maternity services, lab, safe abortion, and recommendation services have been completely shut.
The contagion was diagnosed with the medical superintendent, six medical officers, one dental surgeon, one paramedic, and one lab technician of the hospital.
