The District Administration Office has issued an order for the general public to carry the compulsory vaccination card from January 22. The administration has issued a seven-point order ordering the general public to carry the mandatory vaccination card and show it on their mobile phones.
Despite the administration's order, there is a shortage of vaccines against corona in the district. There is no corona vaccine anywhere in the district on Thursday. "Corona vaccination has been completed," said Khagendra Karki, information officer at the health office.
Similarly, the order issued by Chief District Officer Dirgharaj Upadhyaya said that permission of the administration should be sought for conducting political, social, religious, and administrative programs, fairs, gatherings, festivals, and celebrations in public places with more than 25 participants.
Public transport shall not be allowed to carry more passengers than the prescribed number of seats and must wear a mask when leaving the house. Similarly, citizens coming to the district from other regions of India and Nepal will have to stay in the home quarantine under the supervision of the local level health department. As of Thursday, 17 people have been infected with a corona in the district. Corona infection is seen in Nepalis returning from India after employment. Testing at the border has shown infection in those returning from India.
Arrangements have been made for inspection at Darchula's Pulghat and Jauljivi, which borders India. Chief District Officer Upadhyaya said that the health check-up at Naka has been tightened as the new variant of Corona Omicron is spreading rapidly in India.
